Asked on every first call.
Cost, setup, carriers and how CertifiedLoads stops the common schemes.
How do brokers stop double brokering?
Start with good vetting, so the load is awarded to a legitimate carrier. CertifiedLoads then keeps it with that carrier. Each load has one carrier of record from the moment you assign it. Nobody else can see the load or take it, so there is nothing to resell.
What is a fictitious pickup?
Someone shows up with paperwork for a load they were never given: the right load number, the right pickup number, a BOL or release that matches. The documents check out, so the freight gets released. With CertifiedLoads only the driver the carrier assigned can pick up the load, however good anyone else’s paperwork looks.
What does it cost, and how fast can we start?
We set pricing with you on a short first call, based on what you move and your monthly volume. On the direct path there is nothing to integrate: we onboard your carriers, you dispatch a load, and your first handoff clears. On the connected path we scope the integration with you first.
We are a large broker with our own driver app. Do our drivers have to switch apps?
Not necessarily. We look at how your app is used today and plan the rollout with you, so your drivers keep the tools they know.
Do we have to replace our TMS or load board?
No. Keep posting on the boards you use today, then award and dispatch through CertifiedLoads. If you dispatch by email and phone, you use the shipper portal, under your brand if you want. If you run a TMS, we connect it so the load moves into the network when you award it. We scope that with you before anything is built.
What do carriers have to install or buy?
Only the driver app, free on the App Store and Google Play. No hardware. We onboard the carrier and their drivers, and from then on those drivers can run the loads their carrier assigns them.
How is this different from carrier vetting?
Vetting confirms a carrier is legitimate before you award the load. CertifiedLoads makes sure that carrier, and the driver they assign, are the ones who pick it up and deliver it. The two work together: vetting covers the choice, CertifiedLoads covers the handoff.
We are a dealer or auction. We never dispatch anything ourselves. Where do we fit?
You set the requirement. Tell your brokers and carriers that your units move through CertifiedLoads, the same way you require insurance minimums. Your units stop being the easy target, whoever dispatches them.
Does it only work with one load board or marketplace?
No. Post wherever you post today. CertifiedLoads covers the load from dispatch to delivery, whichever board, broker or carrier it came through.
How does it work under the hood?
The technology is patent pending, so we keep the details for conversations under NDA. On a first call we show you the outcome: only the assigned driver can pick up the load, nobody else can see or take it, and every handoff is on record.
What is double brokering?
Double brokering is when the carrier you hired resells your load to another carrier without your knowledge or consent. Your freight moves with a truck you never approved, and every document downstream looks correct. It happens after the load is awarded, which is why CertifiedLoads keeps each load with the carrier you assigned all the way to delivery.
Do shippers, docks or warehouses need scanners or new equipment?
No. There is nothing to install at the dock and no hardware to buy. The person releasing the load does what they do today, and the handoff still goes on record.
What if someone poses as our carrier?
They still cannot take the load. Only the driver your carrier assigned can pick it up, and nobody else can see the load. A borrowed MC number or perfect paperwork gets anyone else nothing.
What does the handoff record show?
Who you assigned, who picked up and who delivered, with the time of each handoff and the signed documents, so you can show a customer or an adjuster exactly what happened.
Does CertifiedLoads only cover vehicle transport?
No. It works for general freight and vehicles. Automotive logistics is where we started.
Does CertifiedLoads cover delivery, or only the pickup?
Delivery too. The load stays with your carrier from dispatch through delivery. If the carrier swaps drivers mid-route, the load can only move to another driver they authorized, and only an authorized driver can mark it delivered. Both handoffs, pickup and delivery, go on the record.
How does the free month work?
New customers get their first 30 days free. It starts with a short call to confirm the fit and your volume. Then we onboard your carriers and their drivers, and you run real loads at no charge.
What if a driver has a problem at pickup?
The driver calls their carrier’s dispatcher first, the same as today. If the carrier needs a different driver on the load, they assign another one of their own drivers and the load moves to that driver. The dock releases the way it always does, and the handoff still goes on record. Carriers and customers can reach our team at [email protected].
